Support Temple Sinai this #GivingTuesday!
Dear friends,
Your support makes everything we do possible. From Friday night services to the High Holy Days, from musical performances to caring for the homeless, whether virtually or in person, Temple Sinai relies on you and on your contributions.
Unsurprisingly, COVID-19 has had a major impact on all aspects of life, including Temple Sinai. Because of this, we are relying more than ever on the generosity of our members to help the Temple navigate these challenging times.
This #GivingTuesday, as we approach Hanukkah and the gift-giving we do during the holiday, please consider a gift to your Temple family. I invite you to make a payment on your Temple membership, or an additional donation, so that you may realize the tax benefits of those donations to Temple Sinai in 2020. As always, please be sure to consult your tax preparer first.
In particular, if you are looking to clean up small stock positions, please consider simply donating these to Temple Sinai. As a non-profit, any stock donation you give may afford you the maximum tax deduction allowed by law. Additionally, you will not be subject to tax upon the donation or sale of those shares.
