Early Childhood Center

The Temple Sinai Early Childhood Center is committed to the principle that the early childhood years are the ideal time to begin a child’s love of learning and develop a strong connection his or her Jewish heritage. Our curriculum is thoughtful and developmentally appropriate, and delivered in a warm, supportive environment that promotes individuality, engagement, and social development. Whether children are easel painting, practicing yoga, caring for outdoor gardens or class pets, celebrating Shabbat, or stargazing at Pajama Night, we make every activity meaningful, exciting and fun.

We learn through our senses. Our skilled team of teachers apply the Reggio Emilia philosophy, recognized worldwide as one of the best programs for young children. This unique, child-centered approach focuses on experiential learning in a collaborative and nurturing environment, and is based on the principles of respect, responsibility and community. Students learn through play and exploration of the world around them creating an environment that promotes self-esteem, kindness and cooperative interactions.

Small class sizes and a high teacher-to-child ratio elevate the opportunity for personalized attention. Our long-tenured educators ─ many with master’s degrees – are deeply vested in each child and able to identify exactly what he or she needs to be successful. For more than 45 years, the Temple Sinai Early Childhood Center has been guiding young students from one stage of development to the next, and fueling their cognitive, social, emotional and spiritual growth.

PLEASE NOTE: Per the Union for Reform Judaism, ALL ECC students MUST be up to date on all vaccinations, including a yearly flu vaccine. There are no exclusions.
